Products for ensiling

Chemical silage additives such as Promyr NF, Promyr XE, Profor and Proens produce a powerful and rapid effect at the start of the ensiling process. This promotes the ensiling process and reduces the risk of damage in storage. Chemical silage additives are the best choice for all conceivable ensiling conditions and have gained a reputation for making very good silage even under difficult ensiling conditions, where the crop is wet and deficient in sugar and/or coarse.

The rapid lowering of the pH achieved with Perstorp's products also inhibits the bacteria and moulds that cause protein breakdown. This results in low levels of ammonium nitrogen, which can otherwise give rise to poor hygiene and nitrogen losses to the natural environment. Promyr NF, Promyr XE, Profor and Proens inhibit protein breakdown and increase yields.
